Mr Geoffrey M. Tsang

Mr Tsang received his schooling in England and received his medical degree at Birmingham University.

Mr Tsang was trained in cardiothoracic and aortic surgery at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham; Children’s Hospital, Birmingham; Heartlands Hospital, Birmingham; University Hospital, Coventry; and the North Staffordshire University Hospital. He was also trained in heart and lung transplantation at the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle upon Tyne.

On completion of his training, Mr Tsang joined Southampton General Hospital as a Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon in 1999, focussing entirely on adult cardiac surgery after (2003)

Mr Tsang has performed over 6000 heart operations since 1999. He currently has one of the largest practices in the UK and performs over 300 major heart operations a year. He believes in tailoring evidence-based care to meet every patient’s individual needs. He is recognised as one of the UK’s top performing Cardiac Surgeons, both in terms of surgical outcomes and patient feedback testimonials.
