Approximately seven months ago since you operated to change my aortic valve, I am writing to say how pleased I am with the result. The operation and the cardiac rehabilitation provided by the specialist nurses at Salisbury District Hospital have resulted in me reaching a much higher level of fitness. I am probably fitter than when I left the army 20 years ago.
