Scientific and Academic Contributions

Mr. Modi supervises and teaches cardiac surgical trainees as well as medical students, and he has supervised their projects, presentations, and scientific publications for medical literature. In the past, Mr. Modi has performed editorial work for international scientific journals.

Mr. Modi is a co-founder of a cardiothoracic educational website, an educational app, and a certification module on the NHS e-learning website. Mr. Modi is currently appointed as the cardiac course director of a national cardiothoracic trainee course in Germany. He has been a faculty member on numerous national and international courses. He has presented at multiple local, national, and international meetings and taught surgical techniques in wet labs at international workshops. He is currently the educational co-lead of the UK Aortic Society group and helps coordinate its educational activity.

Mr. Modi’s dedication and efforts towards teaching and training have earned him nominations for the prestigious Silver Scalpel and NHS Shine Awards in the past.
